Added October 6, 2017 to Dayton, Pre 1988
Had some fun with this 2 1/4 lb Dayton. Even made him a little buddy out of an old Collins ball peen.

Awesome restoration and photo! Thanks for sharing. Hard to pin down exact dates, but this axe was made sometime before 1988.

Love this handle design very similar to the Scandinavian styles that have been tested and proven over centuries. Amazing model!

This is my favorite style. My sons and I use them while camping so they work best for our packs, currently they are all vintage. Fantastic work!

It’s Amber Wood Dye which doesn’t take that long. But the funky stripes were a different story lol.
