Hults Bruk – Central American Pattern – 1900s

There are two distinct markings. One is an “H” with a circle surrounding it and the other indicates it was made in Sweden. Thank you for your help!

Circle H maker’s mark on the poll of the axe was used between 1900 – 1910. The think this pattern is called Central American. Looks to be in great shape for a hundred-year-old axe!

I love the simplistic shape of the blade, and the handle wrap is gnarley!

Great looking axe head for being over 100 years old. It has signs of use that makes you wonder the axes story of how many tress it fell and by who!

What weight would this be, or was the pattern offered in a range of weights? Would make a lovely carving axe, if light enough.
