Hults Bruk – Double Bit Falling Pattern – Pre 1988
I received this as a gift from an old man who passed away a few years ago. His wife knew that i love wood so she gave it to me so it is in good hands. I only recently found that it is an original Hults Bruk. I think it was never used at all. I dated it 1970-1988. The old man was leaving Hungary in 1956 to Sweden, then Australia, and Canada and back to Hungary in 1996. Long journey for an Axe.

Great story behind this axe. Looks like the HB falling pattern, it’s not quite large enough to be a Puget Sound, Swamping or Bucking pattern. The cold stamp means it was made before 1988, but hard to tell exactly how old. Give the blue paint, the 1970s sounds about right.
