Hults Bruk Historic Swedish Axe Patterns
Hults Bruk has created thousands of different axe patterns over the years and sold throughout the world. At one time each region had a specific axe for the type of trees found and the type of work being performed. Old carpenter’s patterns like the WesterGotlands and Norrbottens axes have a distinct Old-World look to them. While axes like the Yankee, Ohio and Maine were popular in the United States during the 1800s forestry boom. Other axes were like the Tasmanian pattern were made for hardwoods found in Austrailia.
