I found this axe head all rusted in a pile of scrap metal at my wife’s family home. The previous owner seems to have used it as a hammer as the back was flared out.
I believe it is either an Agdor Tasmanian pattern felling axe or maybe an Avrika axe. Would love to find out exactly what it is.
Given the flared heel and toe, and 4.5lb stamp, this is most likely an Arvika pattern. The stamp with the head weight and logo on the same cheek means it was made after 1988. Hope this helps!
