My grandmother gave me two of my late grandfathers old axes. I don’t know from what year they are or what pattern. My grandfather used to grind axe heads for a while and he loved axes. Also made couple of his own.
Really cool axe, maybe from the 1930s or before the 1950s. The stamp is unusually large, suecia is Sweden is Spanish, so this axe was made for export to Spain or South America. Given the deep beard, this might be either a South American pattern or Vizcaina pattern. Thanks for sharing!
