Hults Bruk – Yankee Pattern – Post 1988
This axe was sold new in Australia under the brand name Jarrah Jack and although the mark suggests it was made after 1988, I believe it was purchased in late 1987. I could be wrong, and it may have been early 1988, but no later.
In any case, it would be one of the very first to wear this mark.
My father bought this for me when I was a child, it was my first proper axe.

Thanks for sharing the background on this one. From our records the hot stamp was introduced after 1988, before Hultafors bought the HB brand. Some of the history on these sub-brand labels has been lost, so this info helps piece the background together. Thanks for sharing!
