Hults Bruk – Yankee Pattern Hatchet – Pre 1988

Can anyone tell me a little about this hand forged axe. Found it during lockdown and started a new hobby. Restoring old rusty tools . When was it made ? I cannot see the made in Sweden stamp , but I can definitely see the H/B stamp. Would be really interesting to find a little history on it . Thanks

    This is a Hults Bruk Yankee pattern axe made before 1988 and probably after the 1960s. How much earlier is hard to tell without more identifying features like the original stickers, handle or permabond in the eye, etc. Looks like it is in great condition.
