There are some remnants of blue paint still around the HB stamp and on the underside of the head as well as yellow paint which i think was done by a previous owner. Axe is from Canada
That’s a beauty! The blue paint and stamps suggest this was made after the 1960s but before 1988, could be older but hard to tell. The yellow paint wasn’t something HB did. Sometimes this was referred to as a double bit falling pattern in the HB catalogs, kind of close to a puget sound double bit axe. Great find!
