The head was found in the undergrowth of an old property I bought in 1979. I fitted a handle and have used it since. I recently noticed the markings, and am interested in the rough manufactured date and origin. Any information, would be appreciated. With thanks. Michael

This is a woodworking axe called the ‘claw pattern’ made between the late 1930s to the early 1950s, and given the stamp it was exported to a Spanish speaking country. You can see a reference to it in the 1937 catalog (pattern 45)
