Hults Bruk – Agdor Yankee Pattern – Pre 1988
I assume it is an Agdor type, 1950s-1988? The haft looks a bit rough and someone appears to have applied a varnish or poly some time back, but the feel and balance is great. Is the handle original? Would you recommend gently removing the finish and applying boiled linseed oil instead? Thank you for your consideration.

The blue paint is from the Agdor line, looks like the Yankee pattern. Probably made after 1960s and before 1988. That might be the original handle. If the handle is intact you could remove the varnish and add your own. BLO is a good option but lots of other choices too: http://hultsbruk1697.se/blog/2019/06/11/easy-axe-handle-finishes/
