Added October 6, 2017 to Dayton, Pre 1988
Had some fun with this 2 1/4 lb Dayton. Even made him a little buddy out of an old Collins ball peen.
Awesome restoration and photo! Thanks for sharing. Hard to pin down exact dates, but this axe was made sometime before 1988.
I love what you have done with the handle, might have to steel that idea
Great looking set! Thanks for sharing
Oo this is my favorite hands down!
Ooo this is my favorite!
Beautiful axe, love to see how she chops.
Loving the handle. Hammer is pretty nice too.
Love this handle design very similar to the Scandinavian styles that have been tested and proven over centuries. Amazing model!
This is my favorite style. My sons and I use them while camping so they work best for our packs, currently they are all vintage. Fantastic work!
Really like how you did the two tones with the handle. I’d like to try something similar.
Great job on the handle stain. How long did it take?
It’s Amber Wood Dye which doesn’t take that long. But the funky stripes were a different story lol.
Wow, Looks like New !
Wow, Looks Brand New !
I really like the size and pattern of this axe, looks like a good all around axe.
Very nice job, I love this pattern and have a couple similar to it.
Very nice! And I’m also a fan of the handle finishes!
