Grandpa passed away in 2008, and while going through his old tools last winter, came across some axes worth cleaning up. Made me pretty happy when I brushed this one off, and the HB logo and weight appeared. Put this one on a boy’s axe haft, and can shave hair with the edge.
The HB stamp on one side with the weights on the other side means it was made before 1988. The blue paint is part of the Agdor brand and started in the early 1960s. Best guess this axe was made between 1960-1988. Looks like it’s in great shape, thanks for sharing!
