    The blue paint means this axe was from the Agdor line of HB. Cold stamp with weights on one side and logo on the other, puts this axe’s production before 1988. Hard to put an exact date on this one. Yankee pattern?

    I think I just inherited the same head. Same stamps and blue paint. Unfortunately, mine has seen a lot of pounding on the poll/butt which looks like has resulted in slight widening of the eye. The eye on mine is 2 3/8 x 1″. Having a hard time tracking down a handle for it. Did you put a handle on yours?
