Order Replacement Parts View Vintage HB Axes

Hults Bruk – Agdor Yankee Pattern – Pre 1988

Hi, could anyone let me know the model of this HB axe?

I think it may be an Arvika but am not sure. I’m trying to find a replacement handle for it and was having trouble finding a handle with a wide enough head for the eye – these are 25mm x 76mm!

    The cold stamp puts production before 1988. The blue paint puts this one into the Agdor line of axes. The weights correspond to the Yankee pattern axes. My best guess, this axe was made in the 1970s. The eye size doesn’t correspond to any of the current handles, so it will be hard to find an exact replacement. You’ll probably have to get a larger handle and sand it down. I’m not sure if the Arvika handle will fit, we’re still waiting to get those in the US. Hope this helps, thanks for sharin!
