Hults Bruk – Tasmanian Pattern – Pre 1988

I split the handle on this ace recently and removed remnants by burning head in a fire pit. When cleaning up the axe head I noted the maker’s marks on either cheek. I’ve had this axe for 30 odd years but can’t remember if it was a hand-me-down from my father or grandfather. From the photos on this website I can assume it was made before 1988.
