Hults Bruk – Vira Pattern – Pre 1988
I found this hults bruk axe from local flea market in Finland. It was in a pretty bad condition so I removed all of the rust and reprofiled it a littlebit. I also removed the handle an I will replace it later. Handle is 50 centimeters long an head weight is 0,8 kilograms. I couldn’t find this type of axe from hults bruk old catalogs, but i would love to know more about it!

Vira (sometimes Wira) pattern axe. Probably from the 1960s-70s. This pattern was discontinued sometime around the early 1980s. A classic HB pattern with ear lugs and the weld line at the poll was done for aesthetics. Good find!
