Hults Bruk – Plumb Brand Yankee Pattern – Post 1988
This axe was bought new in Australia in around 2000 or 2001.
It was sold under the Plumb brand through a chain of hardware stores. Plumb of course is a proud American brand, but they were bought out in the 90s by Cooper Tools and eventually they stopped their factory and outsourced.
I don’t know what pattern this one is.

Looks like our large Yankee pattern. Hults Bruk does make axes under other brand labels. I’ve been trying to get more details about the Plumb partnership, but have not yet. Your history is correct though, Cooper Tools held the license and many of these were sold in Australia. Wish I had more info to share, I’ll keep digging. Thanks for sharing
