Hults Bruk – 1.25 lb Hatchet – Post 1988

If the timeline of the weight markings sharing the same face as the HB logo and “Made in Sweden” marks is definitive, then I have just obtained a post-1988 0.6kg / 1.25lb hatchet with the Agdorfix resin feature.
Found it for $5 yesterday and spent an hour and a half cleaning it up this afternoon!

Hults Bruk – 4lb. Yankee Pattern – Post 1988

Hey, my uncle gave me this axe head. I cleaned her up in vinegar and steel brush, then gave it a bit more with the grinder and flap wheel. Got some more work to do on it. Was wondering if anyone knows what model it is?

Hults Bruk – Yankee Pattern – Post 1988

Hi there I’ve got a lot of axe heads going to scrap and were all rusted together. These are the first ones I cleaned up and now on there way to being polished. I was just wondering if you can identify the HB axe it has 09 on one side and 2 on the other side. Thank you in advance.

Hults Bruk – 2 lb. Agdor Hatchet – Post 1988

Hello. I found this beautiful axe earlier this year at a carboot sale in the UK. I am planning to re hang it as there is a crack in the back of the handle just under the head (It came with some string and tape bound around the crack which I removed for a closer inspection). But before I cut of the handle off and bring the blade back to life, I wanted to find out about the model and its history. The total weight of the Axe and handle is 1.288kg and total Length is 20 inches.
Axe handle on its own is 17.5inches

Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hults Bruk Felling Axe Post 1988

G’day fellas,
I’m in Australia and while wondering around the forest near my farm I found an old, rusted Hults Bruk axe leaning on a tree with a deteriorated handle. I’ve restored it to a degree, remounted it and have been using it but I’d love to know how old it is. It says 2.0 and 4 1/2 next to the logo if that helps.

Hults Bruk Yankee Pattern Axe – Post 1988

My late father (born 1916) had kept this axe head only; just this week my son had it sharpened etc with a red gum handle inserted.

Hults Bruk Montreal Pattern – Post 1988

Found in BC Canada, at trappers cabin, at Woss Lake – approximately half way up the eastern coast of Vancouver Island. Attached photo shows the head with only iron oxide removed carefully with light abrasives  Id marks appear to be LI on left and 21 on right. When was this head forged, and what can you tell?
