Unidentified Hults Bruk Axe – Pre 1988
Hi! A few winters ago I broke my axe handle. It was my fathers (he had recently died). I pretty much just threw it under the house and forgot about it. The other day I decided to rehang it after recently becoming a bit of an axe hobbyist. Low and behold under the rust it had a faint “HB Made in Sweden” stamp on one side and a 1.75/4 on the other. It’s at least a 35 year old axe so I’m hoping anyone might have any information about it? If you’d like pictures of the eye or cheek profile let me know. Thanks for your help.

Overall in good condition for a Garage sale. The smaller size is like a camp hatchet.

Hults Bruk – Yankee Pattern Hatchet – Pre 1988
Hults Bruk hatchet purchased back in the 70’s or 80’s likely through the Hudsons Bay in the Toronto area. Originally had red paint just around the end of the shaft and a blue axe head. Slightly refurbished with basic sanding.
