Hults Bruk Rhineland Axe – Pre 1988
Good day, I wondered if you might help me identify my axe head. It was found in a badly rusted state and I decided to clean it up. I believe it was originally painted with a blue head and although the handle was broken and in two pieces it was an odd length of 22 inches. My intentions are to restore it and to re-hang, if possible with another 22″ handle. Any information regarding the head design or its name plus if known the date of production I would be very grateful. Thank you

Hults Bruk – Montreal Felling Axe – Pre 1988
Hello. I bought these two at a flea market. One has blue paint other just rust. I am hoping they are quality hults bruk. Large one is 3.5 pounds and other is 2 1/4. Both have made in Sweden stamp. Thank you.

Rusty find! You can barely make out the “Made in Sweden” and makers mark on the cheek. You can also make out a hint of blue paint remaining.

Hults Bruk Turpentine Axe Head – 1900s
This axe head is marked with a barely visible circle with the “H”, “HULTS BRUK ÅBY” and “X”. There is also a very small diamond shaped mark.
