That is a very old Turpentine model. The H and Hults Bruk ABY cold stamp were used between 1884 and 1930. Not sure what the X is about. The diamond stamp is to align the axe with a sharpening tool. Hults would later round the lugs on the Turpentine design. That axe is an heirloom, thanks for sharing!
How long is it from cutting edge to poll. and how long is the cutting edge? I am trying to identify an axe head that i found at a house site that I dated from a paper shotgun shell lol. Your axe is awesome! thank you in advance!
