Hults Bruk – Montreal Felling Axe – Pre 1988

Hello. I bought these two at a flea market.  One has blue paint other just rust. I am hoping they are quality hults bruk.  Large one is 3.5 pounds and other is 2 1/4. Both have made in Sweden stamp.  Thank you.

    These have all the trappings of a Hults Bruk axe, the axe head shape looks like an old Montreal pattern, blue paint, and the “made in Sweden” stamp. Only thing missing is the makers mark stamp with an H, HM, or HB. Can’t say 100%, but certainly looks like HB axes.

      I read in another blog that the older ones may not have had the stamp. Just made in Sweden and weight.
