Hults Bruk – Montreal Pattern Made in Sweden Stamp – Pre 1988

Looks like a 1970s Montreal Pattern Agdor–but I don’t see an HB mark on the cheek, the MADE IN SWEDEN isn’t all on the same line, and there’s an illegible cold stamped bit of text on the poll. Originated in Canada, has the iconic Agdor blue, and the vestiges of a sticker

    These are hard to nail down. Hults Bruk did make a ton of private label axes that did not have the HB stamp but rather paper labels. It does look like the Montreal pattern and has the Agdor blue paint. But without any other markings it’s hard to tell when this was made. Great axe thought!
