A really unusual shape on this hewing axe, I can’t find anything similar in the old catalogs. The style is pre 1930s. I think HB stopped producing collared axes by the mid 1920s. It has the HB poll stamp instead of the HM or H. My guess is this was made between 1900-1930s.
