I’m wondering if this 0.6 / 1 1/4 hatchet was made by HB. I have a similar head that’s stamped HB. Were some stamped with weight and Made in Sweden but no HB? Handle looks correct with permabond in eye.
The axes stamped only “Made in Sweden” are hard to put an exact date on. More identifiable information would have been found on the paper label. Given the permabond and paint on the handle, my best guess is this axe was made between the 1960s and 1980s. It appears to be a Maine pattern hatchet.
