Im trying to figure out what kind of Hults Bruk axe this is.
I cannot see any branding stamps on it aside for “2 1/4 MADE IN SWEDEN”. The axe was most likely purchased on Canadas East coast (Montreal). Can you give me any insight?
These are hard to nail down. Hults Bruk made a lot of private label axes that did not have the HB stamp but rather paper labels. It does look like the HB Montreal pattern. Without any other markings, it’s hard to tell when this was made. Great axe!
