The circle H Agodr stamp on the poll means this axe was made sometime in the early 1900s, perhaps earlier. This pattern with lugs looks like a turpentine pattern. In regards to the handle length, it wasn’t uncommon for an axe of particular weight to come in multiple handle lenghts. Sizing a new handle will require some measurement and trail and error, these old axes don’t always correspond to modern handle lenghts.
