Hults Bruk – 4.5lb. Yankee Pattern – Pre 1988
I don’t know how I came into possession of this axe , I think it was my dads , all I know is it has served me well for decades , left outside and finally the handle split . It was ready to go to the steel section of the tip until a quick look of the markings changed my mind in a hurry .Any identification would be appreciated and advice on handle size too . Regards .

Thanks for sharing your axe. The maker’s mark stamp is the cold stamp that was used before 1988, and after 1960s. This one looks like the Yankee pattern. The handles for an axe this size are usually 32-inches. Hope this helps!
