Hults Bruk – Turpentine Patten – 1950s

Bought this axe head. Can’t find the specific axe, but I think the mark mean it’s produced 1900-1910?

I’m thinking about grinding the rust away and refining it with oil, perhaps boiled linseed. But I’m not sure, tips would be appreciated. I will rehandle it, probably with a ‘rogn’ handle.

Some info would be really cool.

This looks like the Turpentine pattern (model #1) one the most produced models other than the Yankee. If the Circle H stamp was on the poll it would be dated back to the early 1900s. However the stamp is on the bit with the Agdor mark which was used in the 1950s. Hope this helps, thanks for sharing!
