Hults Bruk – Yankee Pattern – Pre 1988
Cleaning old rusty axe heads and hanging them and I came across this one. Cleaned it enough to make out the makers stamp and weight stamp. My limited research makes me think it’s a “Yankee pattern” or possibly “Maine pattern”. Wondering if you could clarify for me the make and model, hopefully the year it was made.

Given the axe head weight, 3.5-lbs, I’d say this is a Yankee pattern, perhaps that’s been re-profiled. Hard to put an exact date on these sometimes. Most likely made after 1960 and before 1988.
