This a Yankee pattern axe made sometime after 1960s and before 1988, hard to put an exact date on these. The stamp on the side opposite of the HB is the weight of the axe head in lb./kg. (0.8kg / 1¾). In 1988 HB started using a stamp with the weight and logo on the same time.
