I believe this logo first surfaced sometime in the 1930s. It is also my belief that this axe was not exported to other countries, but rather remained in Sweden after production. A very nice example of a what I would call a Montreal pattern.

Did the H and the HB get used together ? did the H stop getting stamped at some age ?

Yes the H & HB were used together sometime after the 1900s. The H only logo was pre-1900s.
