This is my dad “Truck Hatchet“. I am restoring it for him, though trying to find a short handle with a big enough eye is proving to be quite difficult. very nice little hatchet head though.
This pattern is called Ohio. It’s a blocky style used for hatchets. The cold HB stamp means it was made before 1988. Hard to put an exact date on some of these. A lot of the identifying information was on the paper labels. Thanks for sharing, happy restoring!
